ABOUT MY ACCOUNT

What is My Gallery?

My Gallery is a feature that allows you to save and organize your favorite artworks in your own personalized gallery.

To add an artwork to your gallery from the artwork’s detail page, click the “Add to My Gallery” button, which is located next to the artwork’s image. Alternatively, when you are not on a detail page, you can hover over the artwork’s thumbnail and click the “Save” button that appears in the lower right corner. You can visit and edit your gallery by clicking the “My Gallery” link in the site header. You must be signed in to your account to add artworks to your gallery.

 

I've forgotten my password. How can I log in?

If you have lost your password please select the 'forgotten password' link on the member sign in page. This will prompt you to enter the email address that you used to register. You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password. To reset your password, click the link and change your password.

 

Can I change the currency and language setting?

You may view the entire site in English or Korean. Also the currency setting can be converted to U.S. dollars, Euros, British pounds, Chinese Yuan or Korean won. To do so, click the language/currency drop-down menu located in the site header and select your preferred option.

Currency conversions are based on exchange rates and are updated daily; as a result, prices may vary from day to day. Please note that all purchases are processed in U.S. dollars.

 

How do I cancel my account?

Please send an email to account@moonartandmasters.com with the subject line 'Cancel'.

 

BROWSING ARTWORKS OR ARTISTS

How do I search for artworks and artists?

To search for a specific artist or artwork, enter your keywords in the search box located at the top of the site and click the magnifying glass icon. To explore all artworks, please click the Browse menu. On the Browse page you will be given the option to sort and filter results by price, medium, styles, size, colors, and artist’s name. To view all artists, click the Artists menu and you can also search by alphabetic names on the page.

 

I want to be the first to know about new works. Can you keep me informed?

Yes. Once you are a member or if you sign up for our newsletter, you are added to our mailing list. Then, we will keep you informed with the latest updates and exclusive events. You can unsubscribe any time in your account settings.

 

How do I know when new artworks by artists I like become available? What is My Artists?

If you want to keep updated about artists you like, please add them to My Artists. You will receive email alerts when new artworks by the artists are released. To follow an artist, visit the artist’s page and click the star button next to the artist's name. Please sign in to your account first in order to add artists to My Artists. You may edit your own My Artists list on My Account page.

 

PURCHASING

Do I need to set up an account in order to make a purchase?

Yes, in order to make a purchase you are required to set up a Moon Art & Masters account. Through your account, you will be able to easily track the status of your order and informed about special offers. If you have not already created an account, you will be prompted to do so upon checkout.

 

How do I purchase art on the site?

Moon Art & Masters is a fully transactional eCommerce platform. Unless indicated as “Sold Out,” all items on the site are for sale and available to purchase directly through the site. To make a purchase, visit the detail page for the artwork you wish to buy and click “Buy Now” button next to the artwork. Alternatively, you may click ‘Add to Cart’ and this will add the artwork to your Cart, which you can access by clicking on the Cart link in the top-right menu. You can access your Cart at any time by clicking the Cart page link, which is located in the site header. From the Cart page, you can continue the checkout process by selecting your preferred payment method. If you are not signed in to Moon Art & Masters upon purchase, you will be prompted either to do so or to create an account if you are not already registered. Upon successful completion of your purchase, you will receive a confirmation of your order by email. please Contact Us.

If you encounter a sold-out item and you wish to be notified if it becomes available, click Contact Us or Question mark on the detail page and submit your contact information. In case it is editioned artwork, we will let you know the next available piece. If the artwork is an original painting, unfortunately, it is not possible to find the same piece. In this case, we can recommend you other works by the same artist or other artists’ works that suit your preferences.

 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards as well as PayPal. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, our bank account details will be provided upon checkout. Be aware that there are fees associated with international transfers which vary from bank to bank. Any remittance charges occurred should be paid in advance by sender. Please note that your order will not ship until we receive full payment.

 

Can I pay in installments?

You can pay in installments when using a credit card. Please choose from installment options provided by your credit card company while checking out. Do not hesitate to Contact Us if you need more information about payment options.

 

What currencies do you accept?

We accept U.S. Dollar (USD), British Pound Sterling (GBP), Euro (EUR) or WON. To display the prices in any of these currencies, select the currency from the drop down list in the top right menu. Please note the transaction for your payment will be in the displayed currency.

 

How is tax calculated on my purchase?

All shipping costs and applicable taxes and duties are dependent on your shipping address. Within the United States, sales tax will be added to orders shipping to California, per sales tax laws. Other states may or may not impose tax on your order in accordance with local regulations. To estimate taxes on your order within the United States, add the item to your shopping cart and enter your shipping location on your Cart page. For a shipping address outside of the United States, duties and taxes will be charged in adherence to the country’s current rates. Please refer to applicable duty rates of your desired shipping destination as final rates are determined by custom's law in the destination country. Tax & duties will be the responsibility of the customer.

 

Can I view the artwork in person prior to purchase?

Our inventory is housed all over the world, so we are unable to accommodate viewing sessions prior to purchase. Please use our “Zoom” and “Show Scale” features for a more detailed look at an object. These tools are denoted on the artwork detail page by the plus icon (+) when hovered over the main image and scale icon next to size information. Also we display as many images from various angles as possible below the main artwork image on the detail page. Should you want to see more images of a specific work of art, do not hesitate to contact us. We will do our best to deliver the best possible information. Also, we organize pop-up shows and participate in international art fairs so please visit us when we do.

 

DELIVERY & SHIPPING

When will my order ship and be delivered?

Processing and shipping times vary according to the purchased item, its origin, and the shipping destination. Most orders are processed and shipped within 10 to 14 business days. However, some items may be processed faster, while others might take more time, particularly if they require special packaging or handling. If you have bought a 3 dimensional piece and a custom built crate is required for shipping some additional charges may apply. If this is the case, we will always contact you in advance for your approval of such additional charges.

When your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. You can check the status of your package and the estimated delivery date online by using the tracking number. Should a delay occur we will keep you fully updated via email and through your Order Status in the My Account area.

 

Do you ship internationally?

We ship artwork by art courier internationally. All our shipments are insured during transit, and tracking information is provided to the customer by email when the artwork has been dispatched.

 

How are shipping costs determined?

Shipping costs are determined based on the dimensions, and weight of the item purchased, as well as by the item’s origin and the shipping destination. Shipping costs include all packaging, handling, and insurance fees. To estimate shipping costs on your order, add the desired item(s) to your shopping cart and enter your shipping location on your Cart page. The international shipping cost will reflect in your cart at checkout, this price will not include the tax & duties.

 

Do I need to sign for my package upon delivery?

Yes, all packages must be accepted and signed for upon delivery. Due to the valuable nature of artworks, Moon Art & Masters packages should not be left unattended.

 

RETURN & EXCHANGE

What is your return and cancellation policies?

If you cancel your order as soon as you receive a confirmation email of your order, we will proceed it without any charges. Otherwise we may charge you packaging and shipping costs occurred while processing your order.

You have a right to return any item within 7 days from the date you received it. If for any reason you feel the artwork is not right for you, please do get in touch before returning it to us. Returned items must be in mint condition and the customer covers the cost of the return freight. Once a returned item has been received and signed for by Moon Art & Masters, we will refund you minus the initial and return shipping costs within 30 days. If you want to exchange it to an alternative piece we will help you find another one. Exchange of artworks is valid only once per purchase and any excess amount above the original purchase amount must be paid.

What should I do if I receive a damaged or wrong item?

All damaged/wrong items must be reported to us within 3 days of delivery. Works damaged in transit may be exchanged on a case by case basis. To file a damage report, send detailed photographs of the damage to returns@moonartandmasters.com, along with your name, order number, and the item name. We will arrange a return shipment and will work with you to find a re placement or for a refund.

If you received the wrong art work please email us and we will provide a return shipment. As soon as we receive the art work in mint condition, we will ship the art work you ordered.

 

ARTWORKS

I have difficulty searching for a piece that is right for my space/circumstance. Can you help?

Yes, we are here to help you when you are not sure about what to choose. Please let us know your preference or give us information about the space you’d like to decorate. Whether you need an insider’s view on the international art market trend or art professional’s aesthetic view on artwork, we will provide you with helpful tips! You can buy art with confidence if you are with us.

 

Can you help me find artwork not listed on your website?

We offer a free of charge sourcing service, and have access to artworks by internationally acclaimed artists whether emerging or established. Please Contact Us if you are looking for works by a particular artist or of specific styles.

 

Can I commission an artwork?

We have close relationships with all of the artists on our website, and in most cases it is possible to commission an artwork from a desired artist. Please contact us for more information about commissioning an artwork.

 

What is a limited edition artwork?

Fine art editions offer an affordable and accessible way to build an art collection. Editioned artworks can vary in medium (from prints/photographs and media art to sculptures, for example) and are produced at one time by the artist in a limited number. For example if 50 prints were created in an edition then numbering would start with 1/50 and run through to 50/50. No additional artworks are ever produced beyond the determined edition number, which is why they remain valuable investment opportunities.

 

What is a print?

Printmaking is an umbrella term for a variety of fine art techniques that involve producing an artwork in multiples. These include various methods developed throughout the course of art history—from traditions such as etching, woodcut printing, and lithography to more recent advances like digital printing.

 

What is an Exclusive offer?

An Exclusive offer is an artwork sold exclusively by Moon Art & Masters so the same work cannot be found or sold anywhere else. Our curators work closely with hand-picked artists to provide our clients special and one and only opportunities. When an exclusively offered deal is closed, no longer the same artwork will be available. However, we can help you find other artworks that will meet your preference.

 

Do you accept artist submissions?

No, we are unable to accept submissions at this time.

 

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY

How are artworks authenticated?

All Moon Art & Masters art works are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and signed by the artist. The Certificate of Authenticity is a unique document which verifies the artwork as authentic.

 

FRAMING & CARE OF ARTWORK

What framing options are available?

Upon Request, we will offer a range of framing options to ensure you get the most pleasure from it. Frames are available in various colors from natural or painted wood/metal to clear acryl. Works can be framed with or without a mat. Please allow up to 14days to frame your artwork before it is ready to be shipped to you. Some additional shipping charges may apply due to the weight of the frame.

How can I best care for my artwork?

We recommend you frame your new purchase as soon as possible using UV-blocking Plexi or glass as well as conservation-grade mat and board. Moon Art & Masters offer a professional framing options at affordable prices. Please visit the Shipping & Framing and Art Care Tip pages for more information.
